Okay, so before I go into my whole spiel, I’ll lay it out flat: I want to buy a cheap acoustic guitar and am asking for help in paying for it. They’re on amazon for $100, but I’m still trying to find stable work that isn’t freelance art. While I’ve been able to pay my bills for the last couple months, I certainly don’t have enough to spare for this off hand. I’m hoping I can maybe get a few donations, and offer some sketches and art in return, to fund this and make it happen. My mom is trying to save aluminum cans to help me out with this as well. It’d mean a lot to me.

A bit of background: I’ve wanted to get into music for a long time - I’ve had my eye on learning guitar since before I was even a teenager. But I’ve grown up kinda poor, and the schools I had access to in k-12 didn’t have music programs. Even when I was working, I couldn’t have afforded lessons or anything like that. But now, I’m not only dating a musician, I’m friends with several others as well, and getting a lot of help with learning stuff and exposure to ideas and all of that. 

Basically, I really, really want an acoustic guitar. I’ve got one saved on my amazon wishlist, just to keep track of it. I know this might seem kind of trivial, but music has been and is really important to me, and is something I’ve been aspiring to try and learn.

I’m kinda busy with commissions and other irl stuff lately, but I am definitely willing to sketch (or, depending on how much you give, fully illustrate) stuff in return for whatever you might give to me.
